NARO – New RFID media reader

We present to you our new RFID reader NARO. NARO is a dual contactless card reader in a slim design; it is a new component within the ANeT portfolio. Thanks to two built-in reading circuits, it supports reading RFID media operating at frequencies of 125 kHz (LF) and 13.56 MHz (HF).

The reader is available in two variants, NARO-A and NARO-B. Both variants can also be equipped with a keypad for PIN entry. The NARO-A variant is equipped with a circuit for reading common tags of the EM4x02 standard and a new, modern reading circuit for Mifare cards (with support for sector reading). The NARO-B reader is equipped with a universal reading module compatible with more than 60 internationally established RFID technologies.
Both variants allow parameterization and selection of RFID media you wish to use in your company. The NARO reader integrates into the ANeT-UNI operating platform by connecting to the robust UniBUS bus.

The reader is equipped with a tamper sensor, monitoring circuits for current temperature and power supply voltage, and optical and audio indicators.

The reader is designed for mounting on standard electrical installation boxes or for direct wall mounting.

The reader is also available with increased protection, allowing installation in outdoor environments.

The reader is adapted for power supply from a low-safe voltage source.
The new NARO reader fully replaces the UNI-Reader T2 and T3 with options for wall or electrical installation box mounting.
