Standard version ANeT Sxxx

The standard version is fixed: that is, it remains unchanged until a new standard version is released. Any change is impermissible, including fixes for ordinary bugs. The only fix allowed is for a super-critical bug. In such cases, a hotfix for the standard version is issued. A super-critical bug is a critical error that prevents the use of the program and affects more than one customer. Common critical bugs will be fixed in the Release version as standard hotfixes.

Release version ANeT Rxxx

The release version is issued monthly, except in the month when the Release version is converted to the Standard version. In that month, no new features are added; only fixes for bugs logged before the bug submission deadline are included. Bugs unrelated to products covered by the Standard version are fixed according to the Release plan. The Standard and Release versions are tied to the customer's license number. Upon request, a customer may be enrolled in the Release version update channel. The Release update channel remains valid until the next Standard version release.
