ANeT attendance system helps in the energy sector

The company Tepelné hospodářství města Ústí nad Labem is a producer and distributor of thermal energy with a license issued by the Energy Regulatory Office. It is a medium-sized enterprise that plays a key role in the city's infrastructure. Since August last year, its management has been facilitated in personnel management by the ANeT attendance system.
The company supplies thermal energy and hot water to approximately 30,000 apartments and to non-residential buildings such as schools, shopping centers, health centers, guesthouses, senior homes, etc., with the goal of ensuring a reliable supply of thermal energy and hot water at the most reasonable prices possible.
Key decision
The company had long struggled with inefficient attendance tracking, which was done manually using Excel spreadsheets. This outdated system was not only time-consuming but also prone to errors, leading to difficult payroll processing. Therefore, the company management decided to make a fundamental change to streamline the attendance process.
After thorough market analysis, the company chose to implement the modern ANeT attendance system. The goal was to automate processes, gain an accurate overview of employees' working hours, and minimize administrative burdens.
The system implementation took approximately one month and was completed in August 2024.
“The implementation went basically without problems; we only needed to prepare our internal databases and similar for the transition to the new system,” says Klára Kadraba, Human Resources Manager at Tepelné hospodářství města Ústí nad Labem.
Employees quickly became familiar with the new system, especially thanks to its intuitive interface. The benefits manifested immediately. Primarily, there was a significant time saving for payroll accountants, who previously spent dozens of hours monthly entering data manually. Error rates also decreased because the system automatically checks compliance with labor laws.
